Itinerary
On arrival at Lusaka International Airport you will be met and assisted with connecting with your flight to Mfuwe, South Luangwa National Park. Transfer through Nkwali Camp through villages and even possibly your first glimpse of the local wildlife. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy lunch and a siesta before setting off on the afternoon’s activities.

After breakfast you will be transferred through to your next camp, Nsefu Camp. The transfer is by boat, exploring the flooding lagoons and visiting a heronry enroute. Because you are in a boat, and the animals may be on the banks of the river, the angle for photography is perfect for the most amazing wildlife image capturing. You will be accommodated at Nsefu for the next two evenings

Explore the area in and around Nsefu with your guide and photographic expert, either on foot through the park or by boat. Both options offer incredible photographic oppurtunities, least of which is a visit to the huge yellow-billed storl colony.

The next four nights will be spent back at Nkwali Camp. Most morning will be early ones so that you are able to be in the park for the special light brought on by dawn. Nkwali has access to the park across the Luangwa River, so it’s a short trip.

Your time will be maximised finding subjects to photograph, from isects through to the biggest animals. Mid day is usually siesta time, but the early mornings and evenings you will be out in the park

Once you are back at the camp from your outings, you can spend time going through your photographs, getting valuable tips and advice from the wildlife photographers and using Adobe Lighroom to enhance your pics. Most evening there will be a slide show where you will get an illustration of some of the points highlighted during the day
