Spend 5 days in an utterly beautiful coastal Mozambique sanctuary with this ultimate luxury retreat. This tour is hosted in the paradise of Kisawa, a picturesque 300 hectare enclave of forest, beach and sand dunes, on the southern tip of Benguerra Island. The island forms a part of the Bazaruto Archipelago and neighbours the National Marine Park, which is famous for being home to some of the richest and the least explored marine ecosystems in the warm Indian Ocean.
This exquisitely planned luxury Mozambique tour is a mix of laid back island holidaying and outdoor activity. At this scenic retreat, guests can enjoy typical sun drenched days on the beach, the opportunity to join a scientific diving expedition or a tour to the nearby town of Vilanculos.

Kisawa Sanctuary Retreat
Kisawa is a 300-hectare sanctuary of forest, beach and sand dunes, located on the southern tip of Benguerra Island off Mozambique, on the Eastern coast of Africa. Part of the Bazaruto Achipelago, this WWF National Marine Park is home to some of the richest and least explored subtropical ecosystems in the Indian Ocean.
Kisawa is a combination of 12 one, two and three bedroom bungalows, positioned within a 300 hectare stretch of forest, beach and sand dunes. Each bungalow has its own private beach, an open-air deck, an infinity pool, an outdoor day area and kitchen.
Among the facilities are dining venues, a beach club, a large swimming pool, a library, and a Spa. The natural ecosystem is evident in every step of your stay. Set across 300-hectares of private sanctuary beach, forest and sand dunes, Kisawa will feature a standalone spa – called The Natural Wellness Center – which will specialise in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurvedic offerings.
From sunrise to sunset, your personal beachfront, and the clarity of the stars. Enjoy wilderness from the deck of your bungalow or venture further afield to explore all the Bazaruto archipelago has to offer.
